Watch Obama Talk (and Tear Up) About Today's Elementary School Shooting

President Obama teared up this afternoon when he talked about the victims of today's elementary school massacre in Connecticut: at least 27 people and 20 little kids were gunned down.

"The majority of those who died today were children — beautiful little kids between the ages of 5 and 10-years-old," he said. "They had their entire lives ahead of them — birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own."

He noted that he had become all too familiar with mass shootings, thanks to the Sikh temple shooting in Wisconsin, the movie theater shooting in Colorado, and the mall shooting in Oregon — those examples are only some of the mass shooting tragedies that took place this year.

"We're going to have to come together to take meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this, regardless of the politics," he said.

Okay, yes. So what's next? Please say something concrete soon.

"Okay, yes. So what's next? "

How about we let the families bury the kids before the president can discuss what's next....
