Anderson Cooper interviewed Adele on 60 Minutes tonight, and it's hard to recall the last time someone so famous came off as so down-to-earth and like someone you'd actually want to be friends with. She and Anderson chat about everything from her love life (she's happy!) to her terrible stage fright to her love of swearing. It's so much fun to laugh along with Adele, instead of the usual weeping, for once.
Okay, let's be honest here: Adele may not be the traditional SIZE of pop stars and runway models, but she is still incredibly beautiful in lots of classical ways (her face looks like it was carved from ivory and modeled off Sleeping Beauty for example. Seriously, her Vogue shoot is gorgeous, check it out).
Not that that's a bad thing: she is still genuinely talented, and I will never complain about more real vocalists being praised in pop music (I laughed when the Grammy's gave her a standing O. It's like, after T. Swift, Katy Perry and Rihanna they were like "Dear God, someone who can actually hit notes! Praise be to Yeven!")
