When this news first broke, people assumed it had to be an April Fool's joke, because that is how much of a stretch it is. But, alas, it appears to be legit. Variety is reporting that Ashton Kutcher has signed on to play Steve Jobs in a new movie called Jobs. You can see how Kutcher could look like Jobs, with the angular face and all. But we are talking about the same Ashton Kutcher who has appeared in such dramatically rich films as New Year's Eve and No Strings Attached. Oh wait, maybe Jobs is going to be a lightweight romantic comedy with Steve Jobs as a doofus who gets all the ladies because he's loaded? Because then this is spot-on casting, though that doesn't exactly fit with the official narrative of how Steve Jobs's life went down... Well, either way, this ought to be interesting, and, if there is a God, the movie will include Kutch uttering the line, "Dude, where's my Mac?"
