Tyrese Gibson's Django Audition Reel Is Painfully Bad

Tyrese Gibson is no Denzel Washington or Don Cheadle. He’s a good singer-slash-model known best for being the guy in that Coca-Cola commercial, playing the annoying wanna-be gangster Jody in Baby Boy and, most notably, flaunting his enviable abs. Oh, and playing the cheap and also annoying Roman in The Fast and the Furious franchise. But life could’ve taken a different tack: Gibson could’ve had a breakout, bona fide thespian moment as the lead role in Django Unchained, Quentin Tarantino’s slavery revenge film. LOL JK, there’s no way Gibson could’ve played the role — his audition reel is proof thereof. I know that auditions rarely show actors at their best, but this is just… If you can finish it, you earned yourself all the hugs.
