This Is What Getting Married On A Tightrope Looks Like

I guess it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that a couple who work as a circus tight rope act decided to get married on a tight rope. But high above the air in front of a crowd of people in Toulouse, France? I can’t decide if this is the most romantic, unique, or terrifying wedding I’ve ever seen in my life.

You know, I could be mistaken, but it certainly seems like the pressure of getting married is enough to deal with as it is — or at least, that’s what multiple viewings of Bridezillas has taught me — without adding a tightrope into the mix? I’m glad that priest administering the ceremony got to stand on the ladder of a fire truck, but what about the rest of the wedding party? I can only assume they’re on the ground, balancing atop of ornate horses and elephants and hanging out with the clowns. Bet the reception was wild!
