This Hot, Kitten-Toting Fireman Wants to Make You a Drink

Sometimes when the marketing geniuses in advertising try to tap into the female psyche, they get it all wrong. But sometimes it's so spot on that it's like they've been reading your diary. That's how I feel about this Sauza tequila clip. The ad guy explains he wanted it to be "cheeky not cheesy," and adds that "everything is better with kittens." How true. The best part has to be 1:09 when the "fireman"'s shirt inexplicably disappears. It sucks to be so predictable, I loathe being a foregone conclusion, but GAH I love this.

Okay, that was really endearing despite some close calls (I can help myself with most "computer things") and I let out some sort of weird noise when he put the spoon in his mouth :)

Also, I work with the dudes who laid the groundwork and set the tone of voice for the "Man your man could smell like" campaign, so it's pretty cool to see that model being adopted so widely. Yeah, advertising is pretty dumb, but it's fun when people get creative and clever with it.
