This Bloody Beautiful Song Is the Best Period Anthem Ever

Or maybe it’s the only period anthem ever, but whatever. It’s awesome, and I’m ready for the Broadway show based on it. (Can I play the role of “Rag Jam”? I know Carrot Top’s the obvious choice, but I have red hair and a passion for song.)

Lena D, the brains behind this bloody beast, wrote on YouTube: “The goal of this song is to reduce shame and embarrassment that women feel regarding their time of month.” I’m not sure it accomplishes that (maybe??), but it certainly has the song stuck in my head. IT’S MY PERIOOOOODDDD!
