The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Trailer Is Here and It's a Cult Classic

Netflix has released the first trailer for the Tina Fey/Robert Carlock produced The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which stars Ellie Kemper as a doomsday cult member who, after years in an underground vault in Indiana, learns that the world hasn’t ended and moves to New York City to start her above-ground life.

Joining Kemper in the cast are 30 Rock/Queen of Jordan alums Jane Krakowski and Tituss Burgess (a.k.a D’fwan). The trailer shows incredible promise if, for no other reason (although there are plenty of other reasons), its offering of the best—and most upbeat—response to a cat-caller that you’ll ever see.
