According to a new study, when men imagine "conflict scenarios," they overestimate the aggression of their peers and how attractive aggression is to women. Men who feel they are less aggressive than others also have worse self-esteem. [True/Slant]

There are few things that ruin a night faster than being out at a watering hole type establishment and having your male companion decide that he has to fight that asshole who just bumped into him, and then you spend the next 20-30 minutes trying to convince him not to add an assault charge to his record. You finally leave, and your male companion is cranky for the rest of the night. You know what? I just want to go home you say. And you do.

Not that this has ever happened to me.
