Steve Harvey Thinks Biggie Smalls Rapped 'Big Pimpin''

During an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in which he waxed poetic about the beauty of warm baby wipes, Steve Harvey also made an egregious factual error involving Jay Z.

Around the 25-second mark, Steve jokes (I hope) that he wants his new granddaughter to call him “Big Pimpin'” as a nickname because, “Biggie’s song was, ‘Big pimpin’ spendin’ cheese,’ and that’s all I do is spend money on these kids.”

Is this even possible? Has Steve Harvey never seen the “Big Pimpin'” video, which features UGK, not Biggie? It’s sad to believe he’s gone his whole life thinking Notorious B.I.G. is Jay Z. Sad day.
