Stacey Dash: Patricia Arquette Should 'Do Her History' on Wage Equality

Latest

Fox News’ Stacey Dash thinks Patricia Arquette, winner of the Best Supporting Actress Oscar, should “do her history” before demanding equal rights. Dash will never be in Arquette’s position as an award winner so her weighing in is like a mermaid telling me how to walk to work.

In true Fox News style, Dash followed her uninformed comments by mourning the “glamour” of the Oscar’s of old, you know where there were little to no people of color and gays were forced into the darkest corners of the closet. Cool Stacey!

If she really wanted to take issue with something, it should’ve been Arquette’s media room flub where she said that “It’s time for all the women in America and all the men that love women and all the gay people and all the people of color that we’ve all fought for to fight for us now.”

Personally, I’ll give Arquette a pass because one, I think she was faded, two, she meant well and, three, I think she can be taught … as long as one of her friends of color or of gayness explains intersectionality to her over a vegan meal this week somewhere in Los Angeles. People of color and of gay, get on that please. I’d do it myself but I’m stuck in New York City’s frozen tundra …
