If you’re in your 20s, odds are Diane Warren wrote your favorite pop song from middle school. She’s responsible for pulling the emotional strings in Armageddon and Pearl Harbor, and has been called by people who know music waaaay better than I do “the most important songwriter in the world.” Her songs have been featured in more than 70 films and television shows, and with all her Grammys, Oscars, and other miscellaneous accolades, she could make a shiny chess set.
