Saturday Night Social: Andre 3000 Is Coming to Our Television Screens

I have never seen this show called American Crime, but now it is my favorite show. Why? Because Andre 3000 is joining the cast. The actor, Outkast rapper and forever panty-wetter will play an architect named Michael Lacroix in the show’s second season.

Andre teamed up with American Crime creator John Ridley on 2013’s All Is By My Side, in which he portrayed rock and roll legend Jimi Hendrix, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “Personally, I couldn’t be more excited than to work again with Andre,” said Ridley. “He is an amazing individual, a true artist, and All Is By My Side is one of the reasons I was given the reins on American Crime. Folks at ABC were absolutely moved by Andre’s performance in the film, and by the overall language of cinema we used in telling the story. It’s fair to say American Crime might not exist were it not for our previous collaboration.”
