Sarah Palin: Hillary Clinton Should 'Open Her Eyes' About Abortion

Sarah Palin thinks that now that Chelsea Clinton is pregnant, her mom Hillary might change her stance on abortion. Sarah Palin is doing her thinking these days on Extra.

When asked by host Mario Lopez if becoming a grandmother might make Hillary more likable, Sarah responded with the following:

Her daughter Chelsea is pregnant with the baby. It’s a real baby, you know, it’s not some disposable somethin’ and I know that’s gonna be controversial, but those who perhaps get in the position now as a parent or a grandparent, they realize that sanctity of life, how innocent, how precious it is. And of all places, it should be in the womb that these babies are protected. So maybe even on a social issue like that she’ll open her eyes.

Why would becoming a grandmother change Hillary Clinton’s stance on choice when actually being pregnant 34 years ago didn’t?

To be fair, though, Sarah’s statements do fall directly in line with pro-life logic, in which the opinions of people who aren’t pregnant have more weight than people who are.
