On Thursday night, Sara Ramirez tweeted an ambiguous message implying that her days playing Callie Torres on Grey’s Anatomy are numbered.

With the show’s twelfth season coming to a close, Ramirez posted a tweet that is both celebratory and suggestive:

Variety reports that Ramirez, who has performed the role of boss-woman Dr. Torres since Season Two, has yet to close a deal for upcoming seasons, and that her current contract ends in June. Still, the Season 13 hashtag pretty clearly indicates that she might be sticking around.

Even still, trust a superfan to get way too into it:

And to be fair, when it comes to Shondaland programming it’s perfectly reasonable to worry that your favorite character will be offed at a moment’s notice.

I don’t care, I still love this stupid, stupid show. I’d be sad if Callie was gone. She’s one of the few remaining people I love, but her character hasn’t had much to do lately. It does seem like they’re setting her up for a move like Cristina, not a tragic death. They could still leave it open-ended enough for contract negotiations. Arizona sucks. Arizona should leave.

Man, I miss Cristina. Can’t she ever even Skype or email? I was so disappointed when they didn’t even have her cameo at Der’s funeral. Like, fine, don’t bring Sandra Oh back, but show an extra in a curly black wig from behind at least. Who does that to their Person?
