What happens when scientists visit the Creation Museum? "I'm speechless," said Derek Briggs from Yale, "It's rather scary." "This is what should be taught even in science," said Mr. Leinberger from the Church of the Lutheran Confession. [NYT]
I am politically independent with little tolerance for hyper-religiosity, but my husband is a Christian conservative and he takes my daughter to the Creation Museum (or the "dinosaur museum" as she calls it) on a regular basis. I disagree with creationism entirely, but want my child to be exposed to differing viewpoints so when she is older we can have a reasoned discussion about evolution versus creationism and all that jazz.
