The Salt-N-Pepa Show employs the same sort of tactics as other scripted celebrity reality shows but with very different results. Like for instance, this week, the girls go to a matchmaker to find a good man for Sandy (Pepa), who seems to only date players and dogs. But the thing is that Cheryl (Salt) and Sandy have such strong, genuine personalities, that none of the fake setups ever feel, well, fake, because they manage to keep it real. In the clip above, Sandy is somehow able to make a story of an abusive ex-boyfriend sorta funny. Oh and also, she totally got a nose job in between the first and second episodes.
The nose is a mess, but Slut Machine is totally right - even though it's scripted they have a genuine relationship and they are being themselves most of the time. The only thing I've been to drunk to understand is the timeline of when they stopped talking...I swear it's ranged from 2 years to 5 years.
