Here’s all the shit we couldn’t cover today:
- Well this is reassuring: In an interview with NBC on Friday morning, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov suggested that Trump and Putin “might have met even much more than just three times.” Very much enjoying this opportunity to fuck with the American public, he joked,“Well, maybe they went to a toilet together. That was a fourth time,” and then he used this very weird analogy: “When you are bought by your parents to a kindergarten do you mix with the people who are waiting in the same room to start going to a classroom?” [NBC News]

- Should you want to visit the authoritarian state of North Korea, you have one month to make your pilgrimage, because as of next month the State Department is barring US passport holders entry. Spokesperson Heather Nauert said in a statement, “Due to mounting concerns over the serious risk of arrest and long-term detention under North Korea’s system of law enforcement, the secretary has authorized a Geographical Travel Restriction on all U.S. citizen nationals’ use of a passport to travel in, through or to North Korea.” [USA Today]
- Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul agrees with Donald Trump that Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who lied under oath about his ties to Russia, should not have recused himself from the Russia investigation. [Politico]
