Rihanna Is Joining The Voice Because She Is Star Power Personified

Rihanna is heading to The Voice as an advisor for season nine, which is cool but does this mean we’re any closer to her album release? Asking for a friend.

According to Time, NBC brass like Chairman Bob Greenblatt is pretty pumped to welcome the “BBHMM” singer.

“We landed Rihanna to be the key advisor to all the coaches this fall,” Greenblatt told reporters. “This is one of music’s true supervisors coming on board to influence the lives and careers of the performers.”

Pharrell Williams and his hat are returning to the show along with Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, plus two new advisors, Brad Paisley and John Fogerty.
