Relatable Team USA Snowboarder Chloe Kim Will Not Let the Olympics Get In the Way Of Her Tweets

There’s very little about Olympians that I find relatable. They train their entire lives to become one of the best in the world at a particular activity! They inspire people around the world on a daily basis! The U.S. team wears head-to-toe Ralph Lauren! But thanks to Team USA snowboarder Chloe Kim, an Olympian has finally done something that made me earnestly think, “Same”: she refused to let more important tasks get in the way of her tweets.

Per USA Today, the 17-year-old opened up her Twitter app “midway through her Olympic debut” on Monday and tweeted about wanting ice cream. (Again, same.)

When a concerned fan asked if she was competing “right now,” Kim responded, “yes…”

Thank you, Chloe, for showing the world that it’s OK to tweet when you should be doing something else, like competing in the Olympics, or—I don’t know—having a heart-to-heart with a friend, watching a movie, or jaywalking.
