Public Menace Justin Bieber Charged With Dangerous Driving and Assault

Looks like Justin Bieber’s home country is finally putting its flannel-lined boot down. Not even three weeks after agreeing to a plea deal regarding a DUI from January, Justin Bieber has been newly arrested and charged after colliding with a minivan while driving an ATV. Classic Bieber.

Ontario Provicial Police were called to the site of a crash on a road east of the Biebs’ hometown of Stratford on Friday. After causing the crash, Bieber apparently got a little physical with the driver of the minivan, as CBC reports:

“The driver of the ATV and an occupant of the minivan engaged in a physical altercation,” according to a police news release.

Bieber has since been charged with dangerous driving and assault. On August 13, he pled guilty to careless driving and resisting arrest after being charged with a DUI in Miami in January. As part of his plea deal, he was assigned12 hours of anger managementt counseling, mandatory attendance of a drunk driving awareness program, and a donation ($50,000) to the “Our Kids” organization.

Bieber has been released and is set to appear in Stratford court on September 29.
