President Obama is the guest on the latest episode of Between Two Ferns, the faux-community access show hosted by comedian Zach Galifianakis, and he is fantastic.

The POTUS traded barbs with the self-proclaimed “short, fat actor” who “smells like Doritos” in the Funny Or Die skit; the two touched on the birth certificate thing and what he will do when he’s no longer President and people stop letting him win at basketball. Obama landed a few shady jabs all on his own, ribbing Galifianakis about Bradley Cooper’s success and the disappointment that was The Hangover 3.

Good job Mr. President! Perhaps you can take that sparring practice and put it to good use on Russian President Vladmir Putin next time you’re in a terse diplomatic on-camera moment?
