A 47-year-old man from New York and former AIDS center volunteer forged an HIV test to convince his girlfriend to have unprotected sex with him. The man stole an HIV test from the AIDS Center for Queens County, where he worked, and wrote that he was "negative/nonreactive" for HIV. After a few months of having unprotected sex, the woman began to question the authenticity of the test and the man admitted that he had been HIV-positive since 2003. He faces up to seven years in prison. [NY Post]
