It was reported yesterday that Disney's most famous tongue and its accompanying owner, Miley Cyrus, had submitted for consideration to the NYC Porn Film Festival an artistic short film called Tongue Tied—but now those reports are being refuted by her people, who are calling the whole thing a big misunderstanding.
Via the New York Post:
The festival's organizer lied when he said Cyrus had personally submitted the film — a 3-minute erotic, bondage-heavy short titled "Tongue Tied" — and then misled the production company Cadence Films into granting permission to use it, her representatives said Tuesday night. The producers and the singer's representatives asked organizer Simon Leahy to remove the film from the festival and its online listings, which Leahy did Tuesday night.
However, festival organizer Simon Leahy has emails from Cyrus's camp granting permission to screen the film, which basically depicts Miley being Miley, sticking her tongue out while bound in a combination of duct tape and paper cutout false eyelashes. Miley's reps claim they were told the festival was a project run by Secret Project Robot, a non-profit arts center based in Bushwick.
Thankfully, the film, which was originally launched as part of Miley's Bangerz tour, is still available for viewing at your leisure on YouTube.
