- A Swiss tribunal is expected to rule on Roman Polanski's appeal to be freed from jail by the end of the week. Polanski's lawyer says he would be willing to stay under house arrest at his Swiss villa if released.
- Lawyer Hervé Temime says Polanski would agree to wear an ankle bracelet, visit police officials every day, and post his property and a large sum of money as bail. - TLC hasn't made an official announcement, but sources say Kate Plus 8 will be off the air in mid to late November. "They will eek out what they can in terms of more shows," said a source.
