We've all been waiting with bated breath to find out who has won the precious role of golden boy Finnick Odair in the upcoming Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire, but let's not forget that there's a whole flock of new characters that need casting. The latest news? Lionsgate has announced that Academy Award winner Philip Seymour Hoffman has been cast in the role of Plutarch Heavensbee, the new and gregarious Head Gamemaker who will take the place of Wes Bentley's Seneca Crane.

Let's take a moment to celebrate this decent bit of casting news before moving on to focus on more important things, mainly that I once waited on Philip Seymour Hoffman and he ordered six macchiatos that he then consumed by himself over the period of an hour. Stars are not just like us, you guys.

When making up drink names for my cafe, I called the con panna a Philip Seymour Hoffman because I figured that was what he was most like: Sweet on the outside with a hidden dark inside. (It was a coffee shop in a movie theater, btw. My favorite was the Leonardo DiCappuccino!)

Dashed are my dreams of him drinking con pannas and giggling madly.
