Peter Liang, the NYPD cop who shot Akai Gurley in a dark stairway of Louis H. Pink housing on November 20, 2014, has been indicted. Grand Jury hearings began on February 4, according to the Daily News, and he will face criminal charges, though it's unclear which ones specifically. Liang spent Gurley's final dying moments texting his union representative instead of radioing for help.
