Personally, we'd rethink the publicity campaign on this one.

In an inspired piece of service journalism, US Magazine is plugging a diet and detox product called SoCal.

And the magazine babbles away merrily:

"Britney Spears has been using this unique blend of herbal ingredients designed to cleanse and detoxify the body of unwarranted impurities, giving individuals more energy while promoting weight loss."


Bearing in mind that after using SoCal, Britney ended up bald, bloated, bonkers and in rehab, we feel that this is probably not the best celebrity endorsement of all time.
