Paul Rudd Thanks Girl Who Picked Him Up On The Side Of The Highway

While stranded on the Van Wyck Expressway and about to miss his flight, Paul Rudd did something only a man with his angelic face could get away with: sticking his thumb in the air in hopes of hitching a ride from a random New Yorker. To thank the kind girl who picked him up, Rudd invited her onto the Late Show last night for a round of applause.

If I were in that audience, I don’t know that I would have clapped too hard. Yeah, she’s a good Samaritan, way to go! But anyone driving by a stranded Paul Rudd with half a brain would have pulled over immediately. Let’s be honest with ourselves here: I’m sure plenty of our fantasies have begun with the exact same scenario!
