Pageant Mom Has the Audacity to Sue Blogs for "Sexualizing" Her Daughter

Susanna Barrett—mother of child pageant queen Isabella Barrett, who's appeared on Toddlers & Tiaras—is suing TMZ, Huffington Post, and London's Daily Mail to the tune of $30 million for "brazenly attempt[ing] to sexualize" her daughter after the media outlets posted a video of the 5-year-old Isabella's performance of LMFAO's "I'm Sexy and I Know It" in a New York City night spot. Susanna claims that the articles posted with the video "have thrust…false and vulgar characteristics on to Isabella" adding that "[a]s a result, Isabella is now perceived sexually, erotically and pornographically." You can read the incredibly mild posts and judge for yourself, but TMZ and HuffPo certainly weren't the ones that put the kid in pancake makeup and took the 5-year-old down to a bar on the Lower East Side to sing about her sexiness after her bedtime. According to Susanna, the posts caused her daughter to lose a contract for her own reality show and funding for her Glitzy Girl jewelry line.

And you case you weren't familiar with her, Isabella is the little girl who—at the behest of her mother—talked shit to the paparazzi about a 3-year-old pageant contestant for "dressing like a hooker" and then used the publicity from that feud to launch her jewelry line, which is somehow supposed to benefit anti-bullying.
