Orphan Black Is Renewed, Now Tatiana Maslany Can Win Some Awards

Latest

The clone club continues! Orphan Black has been renewed for a fourth season of weirdness from Sarah Manning and her sisters, featuring, hopefully, unlimited snappy comebacks from Felix. Yay!

According to Variety, BBC America has ordered 10 shows for 2016, giving us plenty of time to figure out how and where all of these—SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT—new clone brothers came from and what their “mother” really wants during season three.

“’Orphan Black’ is an entirely fresh and original show that stands out even in today’s crowded TV landscape,” said Sarah Barnett, BBC America President and General Manager. “Tatiana Maslany’s buzzy, virtuoso performance headlines a brilliant cast and we are delighted to let our vocal and passionate fan base know that this wildly entertaining ride will continue next year.”

A new season also gives award shows contingent time to stop treating Maslany—who’s playing five different people convincingly at the same damn time—like the Susan Lucci of sci-fi. Give her an award already, Emmy people! Maslany’s killing it a million different ways and has been for three seasons. What more do you need?
