Oprah to Quiz Lance Armstrong About His Roid Rage on Cable TV

Oprah’s got her hot little hands on the coveted interview with everyone’s favorite fallen angel. All that, and she’s still able to land the cover of O Magazine every month. Is there anything that woman cannot do?*

According to a release posted on Oprah’s website on Tuesday, it’s Armstrong’s first interview since he angered the known universe with his alleged doping.

I’m not sure what the big deal here is. Everyone knows pro sports people use drugs to enhance performance, and when one is caught, they take the bullet for the industry. Rinse and repeat, year after year. Why don’t we just legalize usage of some (all?) of these drugs and then have willing athletes act as guinea pigs to see which ones work? Of course the drugs would go through other tests first to make sure they were safe(-ish?), but I can see the potential for real breakthroughs on things like endurance, longevity, and other improvements to the human body. Maybe? Eh?
