In a press conference Wednesday, Nick Young spoke about the video circulated by teammate D’Angelo Russell, in which he confesses to cheating on fiancée Iggy Azalea. He looks very, very sad throughout.

In his statement there’s no mention of Azalea, just talk of bros trying sort out bro stuff without everyone looking at ’em.

Young says:

Now I don’t want to get into my personal life right now... I think it’s best, me and D’Angelo have to handle the situation we have in a private matter, outside the media. I think it’s something we really do need to sit down and talk about. That’s about it. What happened is what happened, you got to work on it.

It’s a good line to take in front of the camera, but there must be lots of drama behind the scenes. A report that indicated Young had officially accepted Russell’s apology was more or less denied in a deleted tweet around 9 pm:

D’Angelo also sat in front of the mic, and he seems pretty distressed, probably because this video leaking has destroyed any harmony that existed on the Lakers previously. He still doesn’t admit to having any idea how the tape leaked:

Meanwhile, Iggy is tweeting about fan meet-and-greets. Sounds like a fun weekend in which no one will ask any awkward questions.
