Neighbors Sequel, Sorority Rising, Will Star Chloë Grace Moretz

Latest

Neighbors, the unexpectedly great 2014 comedy about a raucous fraternity that moves in next to a boring married couple, is getting a sequel. And, based on its recently confirmed title, the bad neighbors (played by Zac Efron and Dave Franco in the first film) are going to be ladies this time. Chloë Grace Moretz will star in the film, which will be released next May.

Writes ScreenRant:

The subtitle and the casting of Moretz gives us a fairly broad idea of the plot – it’s safe to assume that a sorority, led by Moretz, moves in next door to Rogen and Byrne, who are forced to recruit Zac Efron’s character to help them out, in the face of off-the-hook girl power.

In her short career, 18-year-old Moretz already been a vampire with a heart of gold, a hit-girl, an angsty werewolf, a bully victim/bully murderer, and a shit-stirring Hollywood actress – so the role of bad neighbor should come easily.

No other casting announcements have been made, but we should expect, oh, Hailee Steinfeld and Bella Thorne.
