I love a lot of this, and it also reminds me of what I thought New York people dressed like when I was growing up. So, what a girl in Oakland thought the NYC fashion world/hostess at a hip restaurant was all about in the late 80s-early 90s. If that makes sense.

Man, I'm feeling classy. I like to think I'm pretty up on fashion but I've never heard of Narcisco Rodriguez and my helpful brain immediately offered a replacement suggestion: Nabisco? Surely this must be about cookies and runways?
