Move over Magic Mike XXL! There's a new stripper movie in town and it's got Tyson Beckford flexing everything that God gave him. 13-year-old closeted me is very excited. So is 30-year-old out me. Everything about this movie, aside from its awful title, seems excellent and it hasn't even been finished yet.

Magic Mike, AKA that one time I paid $10 for a glimpse of Channing Tatum's ass while drinking a can of wine in the movie theater, was an excellent piece of eye candy, but it also had a diversity problem. For one thing, all the strippers in the movie were hella hot and aged 20-29 (which Chocolate City isn't really changing). For another, they were almost all basically varying shades of white, which just isn't realistic. Now, I haven't been to a lot of male strip clubs, but there's at least one thing I remember from the time I went, and that's the fact that the racial and ethnic makeup of the performers was very diverse. (And most of the strippers were like 35-40, but I am okay with that.) And what about gay strippers? Are you going to give us a gay stripper, Chocolate City?

The film, which will show up sometime in 2015, also features Ginuwine and I am betting you admission and a large bucket of popcorn (with up to two (2) premium toppings) that "Pony" will somehow be incorporated into this film. I envision an entire dance sequence with Ginuwine (regardless of whether he is playing one of the male strippers or not) performing a move-for-move remake of Evgeni Plushenko's reappropriated ice dancing routine. I'm also pretty sure it will be the grand finale, because you know I'm going to spend the entire film wondering "will he or won't he?"

Oh yeah, and there's a story. Something about a college kid needing to make money and being swept up into the fast-paced world of taking your clothes off for money and pretending to like the people you're dancing for until the precise moment the music stops. Just like in a real strip club. Also, Carmen Electra and Vivica A. Fox are there.

Fun story: I didn't realize that giving an exotic dancer money while they were thrusting their leopard print thong all up in your face wasn't a "thank you for your time" gesture but one that would keep them dancing for you and once spent an entire Robyn remix just awkwardly feeding dollars into the guy's waistband while anxiously looking around for an adult.

More behind the scenes photos can be seen on Shadow and Act. They're definitely worth it.
