Miley Cyrus Broke Up Lupita Nyong'o and Jared Leto, Jokes Lupita Nyong'o

Lupita Nyong’o, dressed in a fabulous white short set, stopped by The Ellen Show on Friday to chat about her spot in the Hollywood rumor mill thanks to her new It girl status. Word on the street is that Nyong’o was dating Jared Leto but then disaster struck.

“I heard Miley Cyrus broke us up, that’s the last that I heard,” Nyong’o said with a laugh.

Nyong’o added that now that she’s on the other side of the tabloid fervor she realizes that most of that stuff she used to read about other celebs probably wasn’t true either. Still, there are so many details in the “reports” that she’s begun to question herself. Was I with Jared that night? Did he make me wear his black eyeliner and listen to Thirty Seconds to Mars while watching old My So-Called Life re-runs? Ellen agreed, then joked that the rumor mill says she and her wife Portia d’Rossi are divorcing and she was hurt because she had to find out from the tabs.
