Melissa McCarthy returns to host SNL this Saturday, which is great news for the show, people who like to laugh and anyone who enjoys watching a master comedian at work. McCarthy has been honing her sketch comedy and character work since joining the Groundlings in the early ’90s and you can certainly tell when she steps into Studio 8H where the writers create a world in which she can go absolutely wild.
