Meet Your Newest SNL Cast Member: Sasheer Zamata

It’s official! The talented and lovely Sasheer Zamata will be joining the cast of Saturday Night Live as the show’s newest feature player on January 18!

Zamata is a sketch performer, improviser and standup comedian who has been preforming in and around the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City for years now. (I’ve seen her perform live many times and she’s great!) She has also appeared on Inside Amy Schumer, Totally Biased and basically all of the internet’s funniest web series.
