Last Wednesday, Maroon 5—a group of sentient mall-bought Sublime hoodies that started a band—made news with the music video for their latest single "Sugar," which depicts them crashing unsuspecting (and supposedly real) brides' weddings with surprise performances. "It felt good to surprise these people and make them happy. [We were] happy that they liked our band too," frontman Adam Levine told ET. Too bad it's all LIES. Wake up and smell the truth brew, America, because most of these weddings were faked.
The legitimacy of the video was first called into question upon its release when a brave (and understatedly beautiful) whistle blower pointed out that one of the brides depicted was actually America's Next Model's Raina Hein. And as so happens when one courageous soul dares to open the flood gates of fact, all of the other lies came tumbling down.
Music blog The Six Thirty noted that this groom—
—is actor Nico Evers-Swindell.
And this wedding guest—
—is an actor named Eric Satterberg.
Then the two performers—Stephen and Barbara Woo—who were cast as "parents of Asian bride" blew the whole thing wide open with a message on their Facebook:
They say the truth shall set you free, BUT DOES IT???
Kevin Hart spoke to The Breakfast Club about the possibility of him ever playing a gay role in a movie: "First of all, before I say this, I'm politically correct to the gay community. I respect and appreciate anything and everything you all do. And as people, I love you," he began, then continuing:
No. Not because I have any ill will or disrespect. It's because I feel like… I don't think I'm going to dive into that role 100 percent, because of the insecurities about myself trying to play the part. Does that make sense? Like, what I think people are going to think while I'm trying to do this is going to stop me from playing the part the way I'm supposed to."
That's a really long way of saying "I'm not a good enough actor." [Gossip Cop]
Real Housewives of Atlanta bog witch Kenya Moore is now trying to claim that she never tried to take a selfie with/suck the life out of Lupita Nyong'o at a Golden Globes after-party, but rather that it was a friend who was dissed.
