Lots Of Lovely At The ACE Eddie Awards

The ACE Eddie Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton last night, may be the bastard stepchild of some awards show we’ve heard of (they’re for film editors) but damn if the attendees didn’t look amazing.

The Good:

Once I read a quote by Carrie Donovan in which she described Babe Paley in some pink suit with red accessories and said, “you could faint from the beauty!” Long story short, looking at Amber Stevens, I know what she meant.

Taraji P. Henson has been looking 100% perfect 100% of the time lately. Only Ina will do: how gorgeous is this?

Liz Vassey continues the evening’s winning streak.

Yes, the bandage dress is putting us all to sleep these days…but come on, Aisha Tyler looks good.

The Bad:

Kat Kramer is a woman who seems to spend all her time going to premieres. I have become somewhat fixated on her and visit her MySpace page regularly. Anyway, she has a decided penchant for pantyhose and poorly-scaled accessories.

We’ll assume Mel Gibson is preparing to play either a conquistador, Cyrano or the Peculiar Purple Pieman of Porcupine Peak.
