Lorde’s Hunger Games song “Yellow Flicker Beat” has gotten a touch of Kanye West, who has “reworked” it and turned it into a slower, moodier jam called “Flicker.” What’s a rework? Like a remix, I guess, but chiller and without Kanye actually speaking or rapping or singing. As one YouTube commenter wrote, “The title should actually be ‘Lorde – Flicker (Kanye West added a different beat to make it seem like a rework but it’s actually not because he doesnt [sic] even sing in it and it is barely changed) From The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 (Audio).'” Feel free to enjoy it nonetheless.
