Yesterday at the Olympics, Ryan Lochte won gold in the 400 meter individual medley, a race, I'm told by people who swam in high school, that's really hard. I've met him three times, and had my picture taken with him twice. Gorgeous, kind guy...but also mouth-breather dumb. I asked him what one of his tattoos meant one time and he opened and closed his mouth at me for half a minute before he could work out an answer.
