Let's All Quit Our Jobs and Make Frozen Covers for YouTube

Pull up a chair, because it's time to have a serious discussion about your financial future. You're putting money into your 401(k) and paying down those student loans, but you'd like to be hitting more aggressive benchmarks. Try this one secret trick the savvy investment professionals don't want you to know about:

Find some really cute kids who resemble characters from Frozen (offspring, younger siblings, cousins would work in a pinch, that smooth operator who keeps offering to shovel your stoop), encourage them to craft a YouTube video that goes wildly viral and then tell them to keep pumping out videos and racking up those DOLLAR DOLLAR BILLS, Y'ALL. It's foolproof.

KSL (via TubeFilter) reports on the fortunes of the Bagley siblings, whose version of "Do You Want to Build a Snowman"—inspired by little sister Mia's resemblance to Anna—currently has 87 million hits on YouTube. Not content to rest on their laurels, they've continued to produce videos for their 250,000 subscribers. And now they've even got the option of using YouTube's fancy L.A. production studio, so we're talking semi-pro, here.

And they're making more than sodas-and-video-games pocket change, too. "We weren't even sure if we were going to get paid, because there are a lot of difficulties that come with copyrights," said ringleader brother Rob Bagley. No kidding, Rob. But he ended up cutting a revenue deal with Disney and now they make, are you sitting down, between $7,000 and $10,000. EVERY MONTH. And they haven't even premiered their version of "Let It Go" yet.

Really reconsidering my life choices right now.

I did not really like Frozen, and I barely made through the one viewing of the movie. However, I love pentatonix and I can watch this every day and it still makes me laugh.
