Latest

Norma “Duffy” Lyon, famous for the butter sculptures she created for the Iowa State Fair, has died at the age of 81. Lyon sculpted cows, Elvis, and gymnast Shawn Johnson out of butter over the course of her fifty-year career. She’s survived by her husband, nine children, and twenty-three grandchildren — says her daughter, “not everybody’s mom is the butter cow lady.”
