Katie Holmes to Play Jackie O Again Because the Last Time Went So Well

Despite the fact that The Kennedys was rejected by numerous networks before settling at the History Channel but then bouncing over to ReelzChannel, where it debuted to generally unimpressive reviews, second time’s the charm right? So says Katie Holmes, who has signed on to play Jackie Kennedy Onassis in a sequel to the original miniseries entitled The Kennedys–After Camelot.

The miniseries will be four hours long and won’t air until 2016, reports the New York Post. Holmes is executive producing the whole thing and will direct an episode. To be fair, the ratings for the original series were the highest ever for ReelzChannel and America never tires of hearing about their favorite family. To be less fair, leave that family and their bad luck in peace.
