It seems like everybody these days has an impression of Matthew McConaughey in their pocket just in case some late night talk show host asks them to whip it out, but there are only a handful of people who can truly pull it off. Ladies and gentleman, Kate Hudson has just pulled of the most spot-on impression.

On Wednesday, the American Cinamatheque honored McConaughey at their annual awards, and the ceremony featured stars like Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Chastain recounting some of their favorite memories with the actor. Kate Hudson shared a story of the two of them from the set of Fool's Gold. I'm not a fan of Kate Hudson maybe because I am not a fan of romcoms, so for me, this may be her best work to date (with the exception of Almost Famous).

Well, that was some of her best acting in years. I really wish she'd go back to her roots—indie movies. She was epic in this film all the critics hated called 20 Cigarettes where she played a kooky young New Yorker who sleeps with an ever-smarmy Jay Mohr and falls in love with him. Fame ruined her ability to make good career choices.
