Kate Bosworth, an woman known for appearing on magazine covers because she was in that one surfing movie that came out twelve years ago, has an app now. The concept sounds pretty good.

…lets people snap a photo, do an image search for a fashion item and buy it through a couple of clicks.
Just like Shazam — the app that can identify a song playing on speakers near you and direct you to the iTunes link — Style Thief allows the user to "Snap & Steal" clothing items.
"Everyone has fashion envy," said Bosworth, as she demonstrated the app's beta version at WWD's offices. "Everyone can relate to that feeling of looking at an editorial, for example — or a friend, or the runway, for that matter — wanting to steal something exactly as you're seeing it, or something similar."

I took a picture of some $10 sunglasses in my apartment and Style Thief directed me toward a $145 Vince striped t-shirt.
I took a picture of a red kimono and Style Thief offered me a $115 Parker Kelsey laser-cut leather top.
I took a picture of my dog and Style Thief's first result was a $30 "Brooklyn Zombies" black t-shirt.
The app is brand-new; I'm sure the team will work out the bugs. Meanwhile I will go back to feeling like who the fuck gives a shit about Kate Bosworth.
