  • Oh, Christ. There is going to be a Sex and the City lingerie line by Cosabella as a tie-in with the movie. Predictably, there will be four mini-lines, named after each of the four main characters on the show, meaning the "Samantha" line will be for the transgendered? Excellent. [WWD, 1st item]

@bowlingfordollars: I agreet that it was well done, but it was a Darren Star fantasy that too many non-NYC women bought as "reality." I personally liked the show, knowing the whole time it was kitch and silly. I liked the friendship aspects and the gems of truth regarding single women's lives. (He's just not that into you? Still genius.) We all want to be strong in our single status, but even the best of us end up in many relationship conversations. As I get older, I recognize that the SATC women behave more like 20 year olds than 30 year olds, but hey, it doesn't lessen the fun. And really, it's Darren Star. Anyone who takes Mr. Melrose Place seriously is a few sandwiches short of a picnic.
