Ellen Page, who plays the title character in hit flick Juno, was on Letterman last night, and succeeded in cracking up old (bearded and bespectacled) Dave. Ellen described her home in Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is, apparently, inhabited by the klepto ghosts of dead prostitutes. Clip, above.
@Circa74: I would suppose the genesis of the music choices might have been discussed in some interview somewhere, but it is not uncommon for the actors in such films to help choose the character's music, and a lot of kids — especially the outsider/artistic types — get into older music. Ellen has worked as a pro actress for some time and has likely been exposed to music by the older people around her even just by accident (I was into the Who because my brother who was many years older was). It isn't really that remarkable or unbelievable that Ellen may have picked the tunes.
